The hooded ones

Hooded figures appear in rocks fairly regularly. In ancient Britain hooded figures or Genii Cucullati have been found in a triple deity form. Below you can see some of the representations of these hooded figures. Notice the three stripes on the headdress. Similar stripes and headdress can be seen on the last pictured stone below.


This stone was one of the first stones I found which contained images or art. When I first looked at it I immediately saw the image of a Shark as seen in the second photo. It was only weeks later when I revisited the stone that I saw the image of a hooded face. This evoked thoughts about the Knights Templar and also the Virgin Mary.
